The Dauntless Dreamer December Monthly ReCap

I can’t believe the first month of The Dauntless Dreamer is already over.  I have to say, I’m beyond happy with the progress I’ve made in the first month – it’s far more than I expected.  Since it’s my first month, I don’t have a lot to re-cap, but here it goes…

What I Watched

The 100

I had heard of this show just a tiny bit but it sounded right up my alley – post apocalyptic/dystopian.  The first season was on Netflix and I seriously watched all of it within 48 hours.  I, then, watched the current season online just as quick until I got caught up completely in time to watch the mid-season finale.  I love it.

Game of Thrones

No, I’m not late to the party.  I’ve watched GoT so many times, but I love it so much it’s worth mentioning that Kaleb and I watched all 4 seasons as a Christmas week marathon and it was spectacular.  Can’t wait for Season 5!

Saving Mr. Banks

I can’t believe, knowing my love of Mary Poppins and Disney, that I just now saw Saving Mr. Banks.  It’s a great movie and one of my favorite Tom Hanks films ever.  It also made me want to get back to Disney World even more than I already do.

A Merry Friggin’ Christmas

This was a random pick at our local video store and has Robin Williams in it.  Seems like more and more movies are going straight to DVD because we had never heard of it.  It was surprisingly pretty good – a dysfunctional family Christmas story.

The Hundred Foot Journey

A great movie about an Indian family who start up a family restaurant in a small tiny French village directly across the street from a Michelin restaraunt.

Mockingjay: Part One

The only movie we went and saw in theaters this month.  My love for The Hunger Games is obvious.

This is Where I Leave You

Another random pick for us that we really, really enjoyed.  Four grown siblings come back home after their father dies – Tina Fey and Jason Bateman make this movie but the all-star cast is huge.  I highly recommend this movie!

I started The Dauntless Dreamer on December 3rd and so this blog isn’t even a month old yet and I’m so pleased the results already!

Thank you, thank you if you’ve already found it and started following along!  See you in 2015!
